Hurrah!! Richmond is taken and Gen^l Lee in full retreat. There has been some terrible fighting but it all seems to be going on well. Mr Lincoln is down there and in constant communication with Gen^l Grant. He is at City Point. Lee is being pressed hard by Gen^l Grant. Gen^l Phil Sheridan is the “War dog.”
