Cedar Creek Self-Guided Trail
Example of composite image — these photos were taken
in October 2006. When I take the photos for a composite image, I
attempt to make sure that all photos overlap enough that they can be
blended into a good image. I generally do this for scenery Where
I can't get the entire image in the view finder. Often, with
images that I don't quite overlap properly, I can still crop the
result and come up with an acceptable image, even though it doesn't
have as much as I had originally intended. In this instance,
though, the focus of the subject was the larger boulder and there just
wasn't any way to crop it. However, I decided to include it as
an example a blended image prior to cropping.
Fortunately, in July 2005, I took another series of
photos from close to the same spot. That composite image turned
out better, which you can see on the next page. |
