Great Egret (reference)

In this sequence of images, I spotted two great egrets flying  out over the lake and was taking pictures of them when one of them pealed off and flew back in my direction.  It  had spotted a fish in the water and was diving down to get it. I didn't get the moment of capture, but, in the image above, as it is taking off again, you can see that was successful and there is something in it's beak. It then returns to it's original flight path.

 I'm still learning how to use my digital camera so some of the images are very blurry.  However, it was thrilling to be able to capture a sequence of images like this.
